5S Excellence Best Sustainment 

The 5S Excellence Best Sustainment Award is given to work sites that exhibit the best ability to sustain gains regardless of operational changes or impacts. For Purdy, this initiative resulted in a significant positive impact on equipment uptime, asset preservation, defects, Rx, TPM and Standard Work.

This award is given to the worksite that exemplified leadership, discipline and teamwork. The Site of the Year exhibits a culture that encourages employees to be actively engaged in GBMS, has core elements (management review, CI, ARC, time management) that are effectively utilized and has sustained or improved audit results from the previous year.

Sustainability Excellence Site of the Year  

Purdy received this recognition by exemplifying the top qualities of Sustainability Excellence and by delivering Zero to Landfill for all of 2017.

VPP Star Recertification  

Purdy sustained excellence in all areas of the safety and health management, including having an employee driven safety culture and a commitment to OSHA’s Voluntary Protection Program (VPP).
