After completing one project, make sure to clean brushes as soon as you’re able to. The longer paint sits on a brush, the harder the filaments become, which makes cleaning difficult.

Using paintbrushes containing Chinex® filaments, like Purdy Chinex® Elite brushes, also saves time on cleanup. These filaments absorb very little moisture, have superb cleanability and require just a few minutes to rinse. Disposable tray liners also significantly reduce cleanup time, allowing you to simply pour the remaining paint into the can and toss the liner, rather than scrubbing a paint-covered tray or bucket.

Once paintbrushes and roller covers are thoroughly cleaned, hang them to dry. Properly caring for and storing your tools in their original packaging extends their life span, eliminating the need to frequently replace them.
